Temperance Meeting

Ihere wül be a regular meeting of the Ann Arhor Total Abslinence Society at the Methodist Episcopal Chureh oh Fridiy the 30th inst. at half past 7 o'clock, P. M. An address may be expected froni the Rev. Mr. Beckley, followed by remarks from several other gentlemen. The friendsof Temperance are rrquested lo be present, as measuree will there be taken to end a f uil delegationto the Quarterly Meeting of the State Temperance Society to be held at Ypsilanti, on the 3d of Aumst. We are regiïested to say, that for the con venienceoí" the frienda of lemperance, who may wishtoattend the Temperance celebration at Ypsilanti next Tuesday, a train of cara hos been chartered for the transport ation of the friends of thfi cause who mav wish to attend. They will be carried without charge. The cars will leave Dexter at 8 o'clock, A. M. Scio at half past 8 AnnArbor at half past 9 and will return the same day. .
