At the celebratiun of the Iasl4th ot July at Littlc JPlym outh, King atul Queei'd County, Va., an aitercation arose at the dinncr table 1)0 tween two nabobs by the names of Har and Lumpkin. They arose from tho ta ble, each with ihe knife ip bis hand with which he had been cating, and met eaci oihcr in conflict. Lumpkin soon succeed ed in dráwlng his knife across the jugulai vein of Hart, and hiid him a woltering corpso at liis fect. He is now in jai awaiting his trial. This ia southern civilizatiou!
