Lightning

-A house in the upper village ofAnn Albor owncd by Mr. Stephen Chase, was struck by lightning during the thunder shower on Thursday night. It made horrid work. It struck achimney which it completely demolished n the chamber, thence passing down the stove nipc, the stove in the lower room was precipitacd through the plastering against the chamber floor, and partially brokcn. The end sill of the ïouse which was of black osh, was split and 'hrown out into the yard, and the windowsand clapboards of one end of the house presented aperlcct wreek. Persons wei o sle .ing in th0 rooms above and below, but no one was injurecl.
