SógüoA 10 enncts that on all unénuinerated articlef slnll be imposed a duty of 20 per cent. ad valorem. Section II. An additioml 10 per cent shall be levicd on all goods which shall be iniported in vessels not of the Uniied States - when no specitíc discrimination is mcdo by the bill; and 10 per cent. addilional on all gooda, e.xcept.tltose brought from beyond the Cape of Good Hope in foreign vcssels - provided no treaty slipulations beinfiinged thereby. Seciion 2. All dfltlès shall be paid in cash - or the goods will be sold aücr GO days detention. Section 14 allows a drowback on foreign sugar refmed in ancl exponed from the United States, equal in amount to the duty paid on foreign sugar; of 6 cents per barrel on spirits distilled from molasses til! 1813, when it shall be only 4, and annually reduced Í cent. Section 15 enacts that no drawback shall be allowed io goods entitled to debenture, unless exponed witlijn tluce years afier thcir import. Section 16 proVides the mode of valuation of all goods p.ying ad vaïoreni duties, enacting ihat all costs, charges and commissions except insurancc. shall be added to tho market value. Section 32 prohibitB the importation of indecent prints and books. Section 33 establishes a ton at 20 hundred wéifihl - at 112 Ibs each. The other sections relate to matters of detail concerning the manner of makingapprnisemen's; the duties of collectors, &c, Sic. The bill takes eüect immediatcly.
