The following statement of the death of young Spencer is given by his commander, ' Capt. MoKenzie, in a communication to the Navy Department. It will be read with deep interest. I rëturned to Spencer. I asked. him, what message he had to send to his friends. He aid none. Teil them trmt I die wishin? them every blessing and happiness.
