The laws should beveré against scduction. The number of cases of this kind, which have occurred within a few monlhs past, in the United States is alarmmg, and shows tlutthere are great defecta in the law, and in the moral state of society. Il is ïnuch lobc regrettcd.tbat our Legislature has abolished the law making Adultery a penal offence.
