The Liberty Friends in other States nave feit the necessity of exiending a knowledge of Liberty principies among 'those who do not take a weekly anti-slavery pnper. In Ohio, Illinois, Mame, and New York, the Tract eystem is in full operation. Instead of thi6, we propose to furnish the Signal of Liberty for Tvvelve Wekks, to ncw subscribers. for the low price of Twenty Five Cents; not for the sake of any profits than can be realized at that price, bui because we wish a knowledge of our principies to be e.vtensively circulated among those who are not eub&cribers, and no better and cheaper medium than the Press can be devised. The paper wiH contain more reading matter than any paper in theState.excepting hose pubhsliedin Detroit. We shall insert large aniislavery selections, suitcd to the important election now pending, and also the usual variety of intelligence. The subscription price is smolt , and we ought to receive fleveral thousand subscribers in a few weeks. EPWe hope this proposition willbe introduced into each county conveniion, and subsciiptions taken itp at the time of the meeling. (ETln conclusión, we have one word to say to the gcntlnc working libcrly man. You sometimes aay to yourself,"! should like to do someihing for the liberty cause; hut I cannot write, nor deliver leotures, and I have no funda. I would do Bomething if I knew how." Here is something you can do. You have at least one, neighbor or friend who can bo induced to take and read 12 Liberty pnpers, and pay 25 cents for them. If he has not the moncy, you can agree with him to order the paper for him, and charge it to him on book account. In this way he can easily pay for t, and it will coat you nothing. If each subscriber will get us one more, though it be only for three months, we will warrant an inercase in tbe liberty voto in the fall which will astonish every one. Do not wait for your neighbors, but recollect the age of miracles is past,& slavery can only be abolished through a change of views in the community, and that change can only be induccd by tüf. trüth presented to single minds. Quarterly subscriptions will be received ïmmediately;to commence on the löthof July. At the very low prioo we offer them, no papers will be eent without pay. N. B. Postmasters will forward payments i roqucBted.
