Tbis gentleman was the complainant n our recent trial, nnd manifested mucb zcal to procure our expulsión from the M.E. Church. He shed bis tears over the ir -jury he nlleged, 'ice had done fti molfur.' meanmg the church: and professed to feel caüed upon by his Maker, to stand forth in her defence; assuring hia brethren that he was under deep obligations to the church. Now this same Braüford Frazke comes up to his Conference a defaulter in the suni of nearly one Ihovsand dollars to the Book Concerns of this same church, so we are nformed. No wonder he should feel under deep obligntion to this church, and ardently desirc her prosperity, cspecally temporal prosperity, if he is calculatina to make auch heavy drafis upon her funds, lor his own private benefit. His character, from various cunsidcrations, is in exceedingly bad odor among his brethren generally, and in opposition to his wishes, he was located by the Conference. This must be very mortifying to his proud and indomitable spirit. Still if he had been dealt witli as bis sins deserve, in our opinión, he would have been expelled, as unworthy a standing in a Christian Church.
