Pile Advertiser of Thnrsday says adestructiva fire occurred on Jeffersnn Avenue on Wcdnestlay morning, wliich raged fiom i two to fiveo'clock. It was in the heart of the city, and occasioned much los?. Judge H. Chipmnn's three stores vvere injured or consumed - loss $3,000. Also, B. Campao's dwelling house and out buildings. Soveral other buildings, occupied as stores and shops were injured. There was but little insurance, as the buildings were vooden and mostly old.
