1 líese remarles have been suggested by the proceedings of the National Repea Convention which lately met in New York. They took measurés for the completion of a national organization - anc the establishment of a National Executive Committee. Their object is, the re peal of the Union between England anc ireland. Their means wesum up intheii own language - viz: "The moral forcé of our united opinions, and the physica force of our united action, by contributions of money and all othcr lawful anc peaceful means within our power." - Among these means are specified; addressesto all the American States, witha view to awaken throughout civilization "the indignation of men against the opressions of Ireland, and to procure aid of the generous, for her struggling cham:ions." After this, no repealer who is capable of a thought or a blush, will venture to whisper a word of censure against the rJritish organization established with a view to the extinction of Slavery throughont the werld. The only difference between the American Repeal Organization and the British and Foreign Anti-Slaveiy Society, is, that the former aims to restore Irishmen to their ■political rights: while the latter seeks to restore all men
