B. - The first term commenced on the 15th Nov. Books supplied in the village of Albion. (t?0 We recently stated, on the authority of the Cincinnati Herald, that the Cincinnati Repeal Association received, read, and applauded Mr. O'Connell's able reply to their former pro-slavery letter. It appears from an article in the Liberty Herald that such was not the case, the letter of O'Connell was not received by the Association, and a resol ution was brought forward and adopted denouncing it as "coarse and unjust."(tThe Whigs of Baltimore are preparing a splended banner to present to such State Delegation to the Young Men's Whig National Convention as shall have the largest proportionate number in attendance at Convention, from any State but Maryland. It is to be a splendidaffair, and the entire cost will be about #800. (Lƒ A Clay club was recently organized in Detroit, of which Dr. Pitcher was elected president. Zephaniah Platt, Ssq. formerly well known in this State as an.anti-slavery man, presided at the meeting.
