State Liberty Convention
Tbe Convention met in Adrián, Janunry 10, agreeably to the cali of the Central Com mittee, S. B. Treadwell was called (o the chair, and T. Foster appointed Secretary. On motion, all Jiberty men present were invited to take a part in the proceedings of the Convention. Messrs. Stewart, Bpckley, Willey, Perkji6, and Kingf were appointed to report the names of a Stafe Central Committee. The following gentleman were nominated and elected: S. B. TreadweU, J. M. Dimond, L. Wilcox, of Jackson, A. L. Porter, of Detroit, and N. M. Thomas, of Kalamazoo. The Convention then proceeded to nomÃnate viva voce, five candidates for Electors ofPresident. The follovving gentlemen were unanimously chosen: A. L. PORTER, of Waynt Co. C. CARTER, of Livingston Co. J. W. KING, of Genessee Co. E. HUSSEY, oj Calhoun Co. C GURNEY, of St. Joseph Co.
