W e have on hand sundry articles frorr our exchanges, öf value and interest. Also, an account of the discussions al Adrián at the Temperance and Antislavery Anniversaries. Also, a report of a debate on the principies of the Liberty party, held at Adrián, by Messrs. Stewart and Treadwell, for severa] days after the adjournment of the Society. We are informed that it was conducted with ability and much courtesy and kindly feeling by all who parlicipated in it, and had an effect on the community very favorable to Liberty principies. Also. a commuaication on the necessity of some legislative protection of the crops of farmers against Black birds. Also, we are requested to publish the action of the Synod of Michigan respecting the repeal of the Adultery law. Also, we have been furnished with the Report of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, which we jaave not had time to read.' Also, we have on hand the proceedings of two meetings of our citizens respecüng the removal of the late Postmaster in this place. These would fill several of our columns. Also, sundry valuable Communications from our friends are on the way to us. In addition to the insertion of all these things, wo are expected to give a full account of the doings of Congress, the State -jegislature, the Foreign News, and a deail of every robbery, murder, suicide,fire, ■narriage, and death that transpires from week to week. Now it is plain that we cannot insert all hese things unless we have a sheet as arge as the Brother Jonathan. Some mustbe postponed, some condensed, and ome omitted, and our subscribers and corespondents mus t be content to leave the isposal of all these matters to us.
