JacksOiN, April lSth, 1844,At a meeling of the Committee, appointeo to cnl] a Convention of the citizens of Jack son County, for the purpoee of makirig ar rangemenis for the moral and religioua obser vanee of the Fourth of July, at the village of Jackson, cunvened on the 13th instant, t was Resolved, Th.it a meeting for the above purpose, be held on the first Wednesday in June, aï the Session House, in said villoge, at2o'clock P. M. This is therefore, earnesüy to entreat the friends of Liberty, Sabbath Schools and Temperance to meet on that day, either to rnake arrangements for the proper observance of the 4th, or to appoint a Committeo for that purpose, and to ottend to any other business which may be deemed important to the occasion.
