Some weeks since, the Jackson Gozette publiehed an nrticle on Mr. CJay's duels, showing that ie w not a duellist, nny more than Mr. Birney is a elaveholdcr. Bwth have repented nd reforaied. To say that Mr. Clay ia a duelist, the Gazefte considers fake and libellous. We, then, will conform, and say that Mr. Clsy was a duelÜBt only Uvo or tliree years ago, whcn he acccpted a challenge to fight a duel with Senator King.
