The friends of Liberty in the Second Con gressional District in Michigan, embracing th Couruies of Hillsdale, Branch, St. Joseph, Cass, Berrien, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhouo, Jackson, Allegan, Ottawa, Kent and Oceana, will meet in Convention at Batlle Creek, in Calhoun co.,on Wednesday the 12th day of June next, ut 10 o'clock A. U. to make a nomination for a Representative in Congress from said District, to be supported at the ensuing election. Each County will be er.titled to three times the number of delegates to which it is entitled to Representativea to the State Legïslalure. It is earnestly hoped that none of the friends of Liberty in any of the Counties in the District will dday. in apppointing their accredited delegates, and also to secure as large an attendnnceas possible of other Liberty frienda to attcnd an all-pay and if need be an am, night Convention, to confer with each other,- stir up to more zeal and effort, and to devise ways and means to doublé the Liberty vote in the District. A Senatorial and also County nominating Liberty Convention is also expected to be held at the same time and piace. Some speakers from abroad may be expected. Let all the friendi in all the townsin the District make timely provisions to embrace so favorable an opportunity to collect and send in money enough to supply each family in the town with each of the 4 kinds, of Liberty Tracts which can be had at the Convention. It will take butlittle at the rateof 1000 pages for $1 - or 10 D?!gea tbr 1 cent.
