Rochester Convention
We have received a circular trom J. C. Jackson, invitingus and alltheAbolitionists of Michigan, to be present at this Convention on the 12th, I3th, and 14th of June. It is expected tobé the largest and most interesting meeting, the Liberty party have held. Messrs. Birney, Morris, Pierpont, Whittier, Burleigh. Stewart, &c have been specially invited. The big tent from Oberlin has been ordered, and will be on the ground. Preparations for the accommodations of friend are making as extensively as possible. - Whowill représent Michigan?05a A new Liberty paper has jus commenced at Cádiz, Ohio, caïïed the "Liberty Courier." We have not seen it yet. CC?0 The Legislature of Pennsylvania highly to its honor, has passed an act pro viding for the payment of the interest on the public debt of the State. Il has been signed by the Goveruor.
