-We neglected to noticetbe fact, that Squire Hassel of Montgomery, Alabama, recently came to Cincinnati where he exccuted n deed of mantmiiseion to several of li ia ppople, then coming1 to Pittsburfh where ssveral of the same family have resiried for years, nltho' they were emphatically free, yet, the bet ter to insure their liberty, he Iso executed a deed of manumission to ihuse n Pittsburg. It may be well to remark here, that these people are all the Squire's relatires, these whose deed is recorded in Cincinnati, being fas ckildren, and the motker of his children, and 'hese in Pittsburgh, being a davghterof his, Mi-s. Mc y, who has rpsided here for years, now living on therow of Laceyville. and her children, the grand-ohildren of the Squire. One daughter, nn accompli? hed girl, Nancy, who went to school here when a child bnt finished her ediication in a Philadelphia eeminary, is now iu Massachusetts as the favorite of some gfre&t family, where her fat her left her passing for white- Miste ry ET The N.
