According to the old met hot), an olive tree does not yield any considerable erop before tlurly yenrs of age, the nev syetem of cukivatingsmall sized Olive trees, especiaily f rom eottings, affords very abundant crops rn two or three years. An acre of land can eósily contain 2500 Olive trees of new qualitr, and' gaihering of the fruit i very easy, as ït can be done by children.
