At. a convemion of the frienda of liberty held! at the Methodist Chape!, in Springfïeid.Lngrangè Co. Lidiuna, July lOth, at JO A. M. ÍÍ. W. WÜ3011 was called to the Chair, and Z. L. Sidmore choserí Secretary. A commitiee of ti ve was chosen lo present suitable perisons to the convention for nomination, Mr. S. E. W.lson, A. J. Cusltmon, Z. L. Sidmorc, E. Knowles, and J. M. Keth. A coniuiiítce of tliree was chosen on Tracta and correspondence, viz: F. J. Cushian, J. Wilson, and B. B. Wnterhouse. Adjourned 10 2 o'clocli. Meeting called to order by the Chairman, who inv'ted ihe Rev. Mr. Kdgeriou to addressthe meetinj. After the address. the comminee on nomina tions reponed th: following name, viz: for Representative, (u, tho State Legislature.) Georob L. Gali:j for Associate Judge, B. B.
