The Rochester Advertiser contains the following card, which is signed by one HUNDRED AND SlXTr-THR.EE VOterS of thal city: To thefriends of Liberty in this County and elsewhere, and all olhers tchom it may concern. In consequence of reports now in eirculation that many of the Liberty men of this city intend to vote for n SLAVEHOLDER ior President of the United States, the undersigned take this method of informing you that sucfr reports are without foundation - that the LiBerty men with whorn we are acquainted yet remain firm and unyieldingj and that, just in to eflbrts made, constant accessions are making to the Liberty ranks. We would say also to the frienda of the slave from. Maine fO' Illinois, be firm, be your principies at the ballot box; and heed not the deceptive argumente of those who wonld draw you into the support of a SLAVE HOLDER, Let s give Birney and Morris ourhearfy and energetic support.
