IífDlAS DtSTURBANCRS tm THB 1XORTH.- W had an arrival yesterday from Tatnpico, brinf ing dates to the 26th ult. The most important intelligence wbich we gather from the papers relates to & severe contest between the Mexicana and the Camnche and Taliuacanoea Indiana. Tbo latter would appear to have mode nn incursión nmong the Mexicana and carried off a Urge number of .women and children. We have not the particnlars of this fight nfortuhately, but it must have been severe, as we have a list of the ñames of six Mcxicans killed upon the field, and twentytwo woundéd. This fig'ht occurred some time prior to the Stfi of October, near the Poso de los Moros, ia the district or precint of Reynosa. Coteiuporary willi this, at the rancho of Los Moro, Lt were shot or burned in the house attached lo the roncho, and many women and children carried off capüves. On tbe 17th of October onother engagement look place. There were, according to Mexican accounts, uptvard of four hundred InJian engaged in this. The affuir lasled over two honre, a üvely fire being kept up all the while. The Indians then abandoned the field, giving up the fifty-five Mexicana, women and children, whom they had previously carried off captivos, a quant i ty of fire arms, und some horses wliicli they had stolen. Twenty of the Indians were left dead upon the field, while many more were believed to have been carried off in the flight, according to Indian usage bot h dead and wounded.
