State Liberty Convention

There'wïll be a Convention of the Lib erty party held at the Court House ir Jackson, immèdiate'ly after the adjournment of theannual meeting of the Michigan State Anti-Slavéry Society, to nominale Liberty candidatès for Governor and Lieutenant Góvernor of this State, to be supported by Liberty men in November next, providing it should be dèerned by the Convention more e.xpedient to makesuch nominations at that time than to postpone it to a later period. Éach County will be entitlëd to'twice'the number of deïegatés in the Conveníioñ that il has representatives tothe State Legislature.
