State Liberty Convention

There will be a Convention of the Liberty party held at the Court House in Jackson, immediately after the adjournment of the nnnual meeting of the Michigan Stnte Anti-Slavery Society to nominate Liberty cnndidates for Governor and Lieutenfint Governor of this State, to be supported by Liberty men in November next, providing it should be deemed by the Convention more expedient to makesuch nöminations at that time than to postpone it to a later period. Each County will be entitled to twice the number of delegates in the Convention that il has representatives to the State Legislature. Such other business wiU be attended to as maycome before the Convention. A full delegation isdesirable.
