Ole Bull's Love Adventure
-TheCourïer des Ltals unÃs pubhshes a very romantic story of a young lady of high respectability in Boston, who followed Ole Buil on lo N. York, and, had herself conducted to hisroom, confessing herself willing to be his slave; and that tïie violinist reasoned with her on the impropriety of her behaviour, and conducted her to the steamboat and sent her back, sorrowing, to her friends. The Sunday Atlas says: - We have heard another version of the story. The lady did not, as welearn, follow the violinist to N. York but visited him at his hotel in Boston. - The resul t is much the same as that pub lished in the French paper. Ole Bul was an honorable man; but the lady, wegrieve to record, is we hear, in alunatic asylum. The strength of her passion overéame her renson, and she was sufferng under the direst of calamities, mad ness, when she visited him.
