Messrs. Editors: - Pursuani to the noticegivün in the Signal, a goodly number of the pcoplc in Clinton County, met in the lown of Clinton, for the purpose of orgnnizing ns a party, and uniting with the Liberty party of the State. Henry Post of Clinton, was called to the chair, and J. S. Denison, of Ovid, was nppointed Secretary. M. Kenny nnd Joseph Sever of Duplain. and Doet. Mooreof D witt. were appointed F.xeca tive Committee for the County. Harmony and unfininiity of feeling prevailed. A number of Resolutions wereadopted, and addresses mude ot the right stamp; arrangements were made for calling a mass meeting. o( this and Shiawas9ee Counties, to make a nonimation for Representative. Thus you see, tbcre is another County in the field.
