Ann Arbor, Aug. 29, 1845. The weather s very dry, and crops are sufFering. The yield of potntoes will be light, unless there be rnin mmcdiateJy. VVe nover saw corn look more unpromising in this vicinity. In fields we have seen we should not suppose there would be half the usual erop. There is more aclivity ín business transactions. VV heat s coming n plontifulJy at 60 to 62} cents, bui wiil not probably exceed those rates. In Buffalo, Aug. 21, we notice sales of new Michigan Flour al $3,60. A sale of 1,670 bush new Michigan Wheat took place at 74 cents.
