- Caksius M.Clay. - We have been kiridly fnvored by Mr. Clny, wilh an exchange for "The True American," and we could honesily wish that a copy it was placed in the hands of every abolilionist in the state. - The principies of abolilion as advocated by Mr. Clay, are characterized by reason and common sense; and stand out in bold relief to the sickly, contemptible gnsconade of Leavilt, Birney, Miss (!) Kelly, and Co. - Eaton (Mich.) Bugle. Will the Bugle name a single principie held by Mr. Clay, "characterized hy reason and good sense," that is not also held by Mr. Birney and by Liberty men generally? The Bugle, we take il, must be an abolition paper, as U goes to the full extent of C. M. Clay's abolitionism.{t7 The people of Mississippi have been cursed with a progeny of Banks more mischievous than our WildcQt system becouse they were chartered on n grander scale. It is said that many Democratie papers ol'that State are for amending the Conatitution nfter the example of Louisiana, so as to prohibit tho grantIng ofbnftX chañers. - ■
