We dfd not endorse the com:nunication at all, but published it without comment of any kind. Wearéfar f rom being nnswerable for all the opinions nnr correspondents inay odvance. As to our "declaration" of 'deadly hosiilily" to the Tariff, we are not awnre of hnving expressed any opinión of tiie propriety of the present Whig Tariff. Bnt we have nol hing: to conceal on that question; and in two or three weeks we intend to give our views at lengt h, with the same franknevs and fairness thal 'e hnve monifested on oiher queetions.
