On our first pnge will be found a description of two principal Slave Markets of the Mahometr.n and Christian nations. Rend them, and see which class of beiévers display most regard to human iberty. There are some scores of ex■oundersof the Bible in New Orleans, including, we believe several Doctors of Divinity; - all of whom teach or connive at this system of manstealing ns heoven-sanctioned. How muchbetteris a Manstealing Chriátiah than a deluded Mahometan or an avowed Infidel? 05 A prominent Liberty man wntes us from St. Josöph County, April 10: "Our cause is gaining, for the Lord is with us. I have hut little doubt that the measures recommended by the Executive Committec at Marshall will all bc cairied with acclamation at Kalamazoo. Some men must alwaysgoso fnr ahead of the massps, as to alwaya find themselves in a minority. There must ever be pioneers; or, as thcy might be culled, target-men; beoause they bear the flng far in advance oT thó main body. Liberty men generally had not fully examined the subject of connecting the ólber interests with the one great idea; but whèh they have duly examined it, they will decide right." (Lƒ A friend in Lapeer County sends us the names of severaf new sUbscribers, and adds, - "Seeing I am writing, Messrs. Editors, I would say yrtür pröpositions havo been very favorably received by all Liberty men and many VVhigs. ' They say all thai they are waiting for is to see such principies adopted. In my humblo opinión, the time is fully come when we should take ground on all financial questions. - I look upon this as the hinge on which our noble enterpriseturns, and think there is no time to be lost: and this is the general expression of opinión so far as 1 can ïearhjWithout a dissenting voice."
