Wolearn that on the nightof tbc 24tli instant, the barn of Mr. Fïoliday, tavcrn keeper at Plyrnouth Corners, was consumcd by fire. Tlio Hames were first discovered bursting f rom tbc roof nbout 12 o'clock. Belonging lo the cslablishment, and in lbo barn were a ci.rringe, waggon ond slay, one horse and harness, Ãlour, hay ar:d grain. Dr. .1. T. Wilson, of Jackson, wlio was stopping therc, lost bis horse and haf nes.?, and Mr. Smith, of ( rass Lake, lost two liorses and a carriage containinggoods and olher articles. We are informed that the conflagration is attributed lo anincendiary, as much excitcment has prevailed in that vicinity on the 1 cense qeestion, and threals of injury have boen made.
