The Frceman informs us that the Scnnte will stand 23 Whigs to 7 Democrats. The Whig candidato for Congress is elected in the first district : defcated in the second, by 100 votes : re-elected in the third, by 300 majority : and in the fourth, the Dem. candidate is defeated by 1,500 votes.The Liberty party increased about ten per cent, the Whigs five, and the Demo:rats lost three per cent.
