Many of our readers will recollect the ■tory of the English Nailer and his boy, which we extrncted from Elihu Burrilt's correspondence. Burriit writes thal he has been to see the family ognin, and carried 100 half dimes, contributeJ by children in America from their Christtnas presents, to end the boy James to chool. Tbe M Learnod Blacksmith " gives nn interesting detail of the interview with the family. He saw the boy well clothed, nnd put to school for the winter. The wag.t of the nailer were nine shillings, or 2,20 a week- of which he paid for rent two shillings a week, and for coal throe shillings - leaving but four shillings, or less than a dollar, for a family of seven persons to liveupon.
