In Sbnate, March 10. "Mr. Dentón ntroduced a bill to incorpórate the Dexter and Lansing Pl.-mic Road Comoany. The Ser,ate agreed to adjourn on the löth inst. House. Mnrch 9. Mr. Johnson from the Commhtee on Banks and Incorporntions reported back the bill to estoblish ihe Central Bank, which was indefimtely posiponed. Mr. Junnson reported a bili to incorporóte the Kolamazoo Bank, nnd recommended that t do not pass. The bill wát indefinitely pnsiponed, veas 37, nays 20. Mr. H. V. Taylor movtdtotake from the table the joint resolution to amend the Constitution by striking frorn it the word white. Lost, yes 30, nays 30. The joint Resolutions proposingsevcral amendments to the Constitution were ta ken up, and .everal amendments rejected. The resolutions were Kt, veas 28, nays 30. The bill to incorpórate hc Central Bank, and the bill to incorpórate the Kalamazoo Bank. The voteby which those bilis were indeiinitely postponed was reconsiderad, and the bilis laid on the table, on an understanding that they would not be cnlled up, unless bilis of a similar character should come down from the Senate.House, March, 11. Mr. Allen from commhtee on incorporations, roported a bilí to repeal the charter of the Oakland County Bank, which was twice road. Mr. Fenton moved so to amena t that the claims of persons against the stockholders or officers of eaid bank or upon its assets should not be affected by the repea), which was agreed lo, and the rule was suspended and the bill read the thirt time and passe'i, yeas 21, nays 0. The Senate look up the biJJ to nmend the charter of tfio Michigan Insurance Bank.Mr. Dentón oflered an amendment restricting them from issuing t.ny foreign notes, except of the State oí New York, of a denominaron of $5 and upwards. Mr. Coe moved to atriko out $6 and upwnrd. Lost. Mr. Schwarz ofiered an amendment restricting the issues of the bank to notes of $5 and upwards. Lost, yeas 3, (Dentón, Schwarz and Thurber,) nays 18. After several motions were made and the vote on striking out $5 and upwards was reconsidered.Mr. Kibbe moved to indefinitely poat pone the bilí. Lost, yetas 0, (Bush, Cook Dentón, Kibbe, Parsons and Thurber,' nays 11. Mr. Schwnrz oíTered an omendmen that said bank be not allowéd to issue notes of a less denominalion than 65. - Lost, yeos 5, nays 15. The bilí wns then read a third time, and the question being on its pnssnge, Mr. Alien defined his position in a speech of sorae length in opposition to the bilí and to the syslem of banking, and filled the timo allowed hiin jnder ihe rules. The question between the parties in this State since 1840, had been broad ly made, the democracy going agains and the Whigs for banks. No democrat in the state that ever votcd for bank but regretted the vote, and democrat who vote for this will regret il as long as life lnsts.The bill, on motion of Mr. Robinson, was l.iid on tho table. The bill in relntion to tho obstruction of the passage cf fish iti nnvigible streams in this sia'e, came up and was passed, veas 12. nays 8. Mr. Thurber from the finnnce cornmittee, reported a bilí funher to provide for the payment of members of the Legislature, which was twice read and the rule being suspended, was rcad the third time and passed The name of the ncw seat of govefnment was discussed, Alodn, Michigan, Lansingj Franklin, Buncombe, Cass, Washington! Tyler and Wright were proposed. Michigan was agreed upon 16 to 0.Hoüse, Mafch 12. A bül for the further pay of members was paseed, 37 to2L The bilí to provide for the removal of the seat of government, pnssed. - It npproprinles $10,000 for the ejection of the necessary buildings, &c Senatí, March 15.
