The skins of all lions killed in the regency are sent to the Bey, who pays a handsome premium upon each. The flesli iseaten; and contrnry to our expectation, weTound it excellent, and made a capital supper from tho ends of the ribs stetved with a little salt and red pepper; it tasted like very yong beef, and was nenher lough nor strong flavoured."
