By the nppointments in place, it will be seen that our respeclcd eandidale for Governor, Chester Gi.rney, is abont ooinmencing a serios of addressps to his fellow-cilizens n different paris ol tli e State, comniencing at Union Cily on the sixth of September. It will be observed ihnt the mrelings gencrally are appoinled for the evening, so thnt all classes cnn find time and oppnrtunity for ottending. Liberty meetings generalh through the summer hare boen intermiltod on account of thn grent pre-sure of business among farmers ; and these appoinlments will give a favorable opporiunity fur resuming them. We parnestly hope that a wide and general notice of these meetings will be circulated, and every ftciliiy afforded for making them what they should be - convenient, inleresting, and highly useful to the cnue.
