We are happy to hear that the meetings atten led by Mr. Gjrney during the month of September, in the coumies of Jackson, Washtonaw, Lenawee, llillsd;ile and B ranch were internsting in their spirit and results, and well attmideJ in numbers. We trust tWat tKey ivill awaken ncreasnd aclivity in Liberly men, anl ba product ive of much giiod to the cause. CVVe have received a lelter from a zealous Liberty man, urging the postpone"ment of the nominations by the BufTalo Conventions, till Spring. Having ulre;idy given our views of that matter at some length, it seems to be unneceigiry for us to say more. We presume the delégales appointed by the State convention wil] truly represent the feelings of the Überty party upon this subject. They are H. Ilallock, J. Patchen, T. Foster, J. C. Gallo p, F.
