Whole gain s-inco lst December, 43 weeks,$275,000; equal to $335,000 for 52 weeks ending 30lh November; which woüld make the whole income this year, nearly $1,300,000. - After deducting interest and expense?, the nel earnings will be equal to 12 per cent, upon Ihe sha re capital. This nmount, however, will not be divided, as three or four per cent. of it will be carried o the resene fund, and the policy of the di rectors is not to pay larger dividends now, tlian they can continue to pay hereafier, upon the increased capital required for the second track; the construction of which between Worofittef and Springfield, to meet the New York inland line has been commenced, and will be prosecuted wiih vigor completad.
