The SlaÃe A. S. Society held its anniversary al Galesbiiry, June 10. One hundred and twenfy five membefs ere present. The State Society is hereafter to publish the Genius of Liberty, which has heretofore been published by a County Society. The following resolutions on political action were adopted. iThat this Society reoommcnd tco all the abolition voters of the State thut they give their suffrages only to anlüslavery men to hold legislative and executive oflices. That this Society requests nll the auxiliaries to take actip'n on the subject of carrying their anti slavery sentimeuls to thp polls, and that they report by their secretaries to the Corresponding Secretary of the State A. S. Socieiy. A Convention of the delecrates of the third Congressioiittl District held a meeting, during the anuiversary, and nnminated for representalive to Congress, Frederick Collins,' of Adama County.
