It is signed by severnl hundred persons of Oliio, Michigan, Pennsylvahia, Indiana, Virginia, and Iówn. Sixty names are nppended from the counties of Brooke and Ohio, Va. We loarn from the Herald tliat it is notdesignedthat this Convenfion shall bc composed exclusively of members of the Liberty party, but ofnll who, "believing that whatover is wortli )roserving in Repubmcantsm can bo maintained, only, by eternal and ui.compromising war against the criminal usurpations of the Slave Power." are resolved "lo use all consliluional, and honorable, aad just means, to effect the cxlinclion of Slavery in their resjyect'we Salcs, and is reduclinn to is consUlxttional Umits in the United Sat es." We trust that as many Liberty men as possible will iriake arrangements for atlending. The deliberations of such a body, representing the Antislavery feelingof the whole West and part of the South, must be docply interesting and important to the causo of freedom.
