It appears that tho armistico for eiglit weeks agreod upon by Gen. Taylor and the Mexican Genoral, was made subject to the orders of both governments. By this agreement, neither party is to pass a line distant about n30 miles bcyond Monte rey. Immediately on receiving the official news of this arrangement, a messenger was despatehed from Washington to General Taylor with orders to discontinue the armistice, and prosecute the war vigorously.
