We returncd from the Post office to-day withcut having received a penny ; and were obliged to borrow ngain of some good friends to pay a few dollars of borrowed money. Is not this shameful while we have moretlmn Two Thousand dollars due us on subscriptinn ? - Good friends, cach of you send in by mail what is due to us, and we shall be relieved from our perplexities. A small sum from each subscriber will make a large one for us. We might well claim immediate remittances on the score of juslicc : but as we have some heavy liabilities to meet just now, we shall consider ourselves under especial obligations to all who will remit whal mav bc due to us immediately on receiving this paper, or as soon thcreafter as they can procure the amount.
